Email suchanek@flux-frontiers.com, or open an issue at github.com/Flux-Frontiers/knowledge_press/issues. Say which app (iPhone, iPad, or Mac), the version from Settings, and what you did before the problem.

Does it need the internet? No. The library is installed with the app. Only the optional Private Cloud and Worker answer engines use the network, and only if you turn them on in Settings.
Where are answers coming from? From the passages the app found in the library. On a device with Apple Intelligence the on-device engine writes them without sending anything off the device; without it, the app shows the passages themselves.
How big is the app? The library is about 800 MB installed. It is excluded from device backups because it can be reinstalled.
